TOUCHING

My newest series, titled “Touching,” is about the power of human connection. It’s a celebration of togetherness of all kinds – romantic, family, solidarity.

I made these to celebrate the power of human connection. Connections of all kinds – romantic, family, friendship, the feeling of coming together in solidarity.

Each image intends to tell a different story as simply as possible, but not too simply.

I create them using pyrography, by burning sketches on birchwood panels. I treasure pairing the wood grain pattern to each illustration so that every piece is unique.
